GGG is a funny case. His career is overflowing with hypocrisy.

He stays in Europe until hes 28 years old fighting significantly lower competition. When he came to America he did a good job of staying busy but his competition remained poor. He got in the Cotto and Canelo sweepstakes after barely beating Danny Jacobs. His Canelo fight was derailed and GGG went back to fighting tuneups. Although GGG went 0-1-1 vs Canelo the fights were essentially 12-12 after 24 rounds. Nonetheless Canelos career catapulted while GGG has been flat and stagnant.

If you stay at 1 weight class your entire career you should have fought most if not all of your only division best fighter but GGG passed on fighting BJS, Andrade, Charlo, younger Dervenchenko, and instead continued to fight Vanes, Szermeta, and I cant even remember half GGGs opponents.

GGG will be remembered for taking the easy way out his entire career and very close fights with Jacobs, Dervenchenko, and taking Canelo to the brink twice. Nothing more nothing less

that is what I have been saying since 2014, when it became CLEARLY obvious

G took the path of least resistance... every single time

the fights were there, but his opponent selection was timid... that was 100% his decision
