Pac would blitz Spence in his prime but at this stage, at his current activity level which is forget going hard 12 rds, he can't even go hard the full 3 minutes. I think Spence will just outwork him and bag more rounds. That's not to say Spence will have an easy day. Even Thurman looked like hell after the fight. When you're fighting Pac and expecting an easy paycheck and his retirement, you should also know, part of the disclaimer means you'll usually go through hell to get that coin.

Marquez is an elite counter puncher and he fought Pac 4 times so they know each other very well. Pac was the only boxer who knocked Marquez down 3 times in the 1st round and if you asked Marquez who was his toughest opponent, he would tell you it’s Pac. His trainer Nacho calls Pac "the devil in the ring”, that says it all! Experience wise, Marquez is way ahead of Spence.Last edited by Bluebird; 01-13-2021, 09:38 AM.Comment

Marquez was asked if he was going to try to get a rematch with Floyd. Do you know what he said?
He said, there is no need for a rematch, Floyd would beat me at any weight. He is just too good.
He fought Manny 4 times because he knows he got robbed in at least two of their fights.
So, how is that he can fight the “toughest” fights and still blast him out but resigned his fate to getting beat by Floyd anytime?Comment

Here comes the excuses. Lol
PAC was old when he fought Horn BUT he can beat Spence at 43.
Morales beat him. Period. So what if he won the rematch, he got beat.
Nobody counters like Marquez so I guess Manny didn’t get beat.
Delusional Manny fans. Other than Manny, is there any other boxer you follow? Be honest. Filipinos do not follow boxing. They follow Manny. Once he retired you guys will be done with boxing.
That means you don’t know jack about boxing.
Every single imaginable excuse is given when Manny gets beat.
Floyd beat him. He refused to rematch Manny
Marquez KO’d him. He refused to rematch
Morales beat him. Manny beat him in the rematch.
Bradley beat him. It was robbery.
Horn beat him. It was robbery.
Manny fights bums like Rios, Mathysse, Vargas, Broner etc ... those were great wins,Comment

The Horn fight was a robbery indeed, that was Arum ensuring that WBO belt didn't leave his stable..also attempting to damage Pacs stock because his contract was expiring. Let's keep an eye on crawford's next fight because bob will be bob.. but then again, I don't see bob being invested at the weight after bud leaves, assuming he doesThe big difference here is that the new breed, spence, Porter, Crawford etc skipped both mayweather and pacquiao yet still claim to be the best in the division. In my mind none of them are until they beat pacquiao. At what point did he relinquish welterweight dominance? Certainly wasn’t in the Horn robbery or any fight since. Who’s beaten him out of the top welterweights?? Only Thurman had the balls to try and he got beat. Even beyond 40 I’d put money on PAC to beat everyone bar Crawford. He’s the only one with the skills. Never been impressed with Spence. Rugged and relentless but nothing special skill wise.Comment

Simple, Marquez’s weakness is fighting slick boxers (Mayweather, Bradley, Chris John etc.) They all beat him but none of them hurt him. Nacho’s own words: "I don’t want to see another rematch between Pac and Marquez, they already hurt each other so much, that’s good enough”. No boxer ever hurt Marquez the way Pac did, even in their last fight, Marquez said he knew Pac could knock him out anytime, fortunately for him, he connected with a "perfectly timed punch”.Comment

It's not that bud doesn't want porter, it's the money bob is offering for a porter fight. Of course if he does in fact intend to attempt, which I doubt, to get the fight made, Bob will not give crawford what he's entitled to. Basically hell give bud a flat fee and take everything else. I'm sensing bob is attempting to disguise buds worth. In attempts Bud doesn't recognize his own worth
Bud essentially outgrown TR, to where he offers big money for overmatched opposition while trying to lock him in a clever extension on his contractLast edited by Catch n shoot; 01-13-2021, 02:21 PM.Comment

"Marquez wants Mayweather rematch with acceptable conditions"
Juan Manuel Marquez wants one more fight before retirement. He doesn’t want a gimme fight either but one that will challenge him and pay him well at the same time. His strength and conditioning coach Angel “Memo” Heredia had suggested a rematch between Marquez and Floyd Mayweather Jr. at 147 lbs. If you recall, Mayweather
