05:06 of the video? Nothing happened. Or do you mean Lara grabbing the rope at 5:01? If so, that appeared to be a straight right off the gloves that caught him off balance.

If you use the ropes to keep you up its a KD. It clearly didnt land great but poor balance is fighters fault

That couldve potentially been ruled a KD

        - -Punch in the 2nd landed, the reason LadyLara propelled backwards. Grabbing the rope something anyone does to stay up, but a clear KD by rules.

The Lady & her fans doth protest too much me thinks. She got manhandled by a Kid Great in the making.

Didn't show for the Paul Williams fight either. Anyone remember Williams and Canelo had just signed to fight when Paul had his tragic motorcycle accident that left him a paraplegic?

Such are the fates of our mortality.

Clear slip. He fell forward because his feet slipped as he was trying to pivot forward.

Slip, Robert Byrd made the right call.

His wife Adalaide may have seen it differently though.

obviously a slip - Lara jumped back to avoid a punch and slipped on the wet canvas

After carefully rewatching the knockdown its clear it WAS a kd,Lara couldn't have slipped in such a way,if you rewatch it while only looking at Lara instead of the Knockdown punch itself, you'll see Lara couldn't have possibly slipped the way he fell to the floor,at no point did he lose his footing,he took a knee no differently than Brook did vs Spence.(for same reason, the eye was fcked up, albeit to different degrees)

I will make a video of only what I'm talking about, only then will most see the obvious, that Lara got hit 1 too many in the eye he kept rubbing before & after the kd,when he hit the mat,he rubbed his eye & continued so after he got up,when he fell to his knee his center mass of his stance at no point looked at all like a slip, after taking a step back as he got hit he fell onto 1 knee, thats a textbook knockdown otherwise countless others aren't,& yes the punch connected cleanly as any does on Lara. Just my 2 cents

1 last thing according to the rules of boxing,it doesn't matter if a knockdown is caused by a punch & a slip,as long as the punch connected right as the slip happened, its a knockdown.

There was no punch landed prior to Lara going down it strays past his waste ,Canelo missed . You cannot call a knockdown if the fighter goes down on his own .
