The main difference is that Crawford actually beat Postol and Indongo

Not even close. Canelo won a controversial decision against an overrated hype job who had only beaten bums. Crawford won the UNDISPUTED title by fighting all of the top guys in his division, the same guys canelo avoids, like Andrade and Charlo.
