Yup. I noticed those starting to appear about a year or two ago, and it's only gotten worse. They probably want a new Fight Night video game where you play as only the promoter. Agreed on that. But I think that’s a down the road thing. Particularly post COVID. Next, highly unlikely. That kinda fight you don’t wanna leave money on the table and COVID does that.

What move did either make other than making inter-promotional deals/network deals? I’m glad Garcia stepped up in class versus Campbell, but the discussion is on what he is going to do next. He is swerving Haney, a fight that can be easily made and one that makes sense as he is now interim WBC change, to call out Davis in a fight that isn’t likely to be made till after COVID and when the money is too good not to have one of the fighters switch networks.

Davis vs Garcia just doesn’t seem realistic to anybody so why is Garcia talking so loudly about it?

Why did Ryan Garcia fight for the interim WBC title against Campbell if he had no intention of fighting Haney for the full WBC title?

There is no need for Garcia to rush into a fight with Davis for a title at this point in his career when he is entitled to a fight with Haney.

I just can't help thinking that this has something to do with trying to move from the WBC to the WBA where he can avoid VADA testing - just as Davis has since fleeing as fast as he could from the WBC once the CBP was introduced.

Again we are talking about what’s happening now. I’d argue Gamboa gives Campbell a run for his money and arguably would win. But let’s stick to the future.

Garcia is Haney mando but doesn’t want the fight. Why not beat weak ass Haney for the belt and make the Davis fight a unification and thus a bigger fight?

Its obvious Lopez just wants a big money fight without going to 140. That’s fine he earned it in beating Loma. Not sure why the stans can’t just call it for what it is.
