Come on Teo's WBC is the fake. You don't have to defend it, it's just awarded, and having read the rules Teo shouldn't have it the minimum is to be a WBC champion first then you can be elevated so Teo shouldn't have it in the first place... and you need Haney's belt to be undisputed by definition.

I'm not in the Haney fan club I think Teo beats him .. but he isn't undisputed, Loma dropped that belt when he declined to fight Haney.

And who cares about “undisputed” anyway. Devin had a paper title that he didn’t win in the ring. The only former champion Haney has EVER faced is a 40 year old Yuriorkis Gamboa in his last fight. Haney is the definition of a paper champion. He’s never faced a current champ, and he’s never even faced a guy that will one day before a world champ.

Anyone who recognizes a guy who’s never fought ANYBODY decent in his career, who received a title as a gift to pacify why real fights got made, as a legit world champion, instead of a fighter who has faced 3 (going on 4) top 10 lightweights in his first 17 fights is paying wayyyyyy too much attention to “titles” and not enough attention to championships.

Salaiman talks bs. The problem is that the fight with Loma was promoted as undisputed but it is factually not, because Haney owns the belt. The franchise belt does not count towards that. Teo needs to win that belt to be officialy undisputed.

Teofimo is not undisputed because the other governing bodies do not recognize the Franchise champion is someone that can unify. So the only way he can become undisputed by fact and on paper is to fight Devin Haney

The WBC doesn't run the IBF, WBA & WBO. Those orgs do not recognize Teofimo as the lightweight champion. If he fought Haney they would consider it a unification

Someone is lying here because Teo was talking a very good game about fighting for legacy and not money last week on Coppinger and Pugmire's podcast.
They are all still very young so I'll give them a pass but hopefully Tank, Ryan, Teo and Devin do not let their legacy fights pass them by like Spence and Crawford seem intent on doing at the moment.
