Wladamir Klitschko when did he start to decline

Obviously by the time he fought AJ he was a corpse but when did his prime end.

First time I noticed it was vs jennings who he would have killed a couple of years before.

I did notice he got caught with some silly shots by Pulev so I think it was around then

Even though he dominated Povetkin, I think it was then for me. He just seemed...odd. I honestly can’t explain it. Maybe a combination of losing a fraction of the step or the fire, I dunno. Just seemed to be lacking something.

jennings, he was losing a yard of pace and snap by then. jennings was a bum, and went the distance.

He destroyed Pulev... there was absolutely no sign of any decline there.

He obviously did decline, as anyone would at that age - but really for me it was motivation for the loss against Fury and against AJ he was clearly still strong as evidenced by his movement and ability to hold off the initial knockdown. I think his reflexes may have been marginally lower but really physically he was in good condition - he kept himself very well machined in that front - so it really isn’t a decline like you see with others who “turn old overnight”

I was going to say in the Jenning fight. But then he fought like he had something to prove in his last fight against AJ (Who for me was a prospect when they fought). But Jenning fight for me tick a lot of boxes.

If Wlad came back and sparked out Wilder and dominated Fury the forum would say he looks better then ever and still say he was a corpse against A.J even though he looked the most athletic we’ve seen him . Ha

If Wlad won the A.J fight everyone would be talking about his footwork and setting up traps to land but he lost so obvious he was a zombie in there . Wow

All boxers are not the same after they hit 32-33 years old. Some decline fast some slower. Some use some drugs that extend their primes.
