i totally agree! He made the WBA a lot of money back in the day so that probably has allowed him to get away with this crap the last decade. He should have his promoters license suspended for good. Even my local sanctioning body is tougher than the big bodies in the US. We had a local HW here in my city of Edmonton, Canada that really did mean well & tried to promote a few decent events but got his promoters license suspended by the local commision because of not having all his ducks in a row. The first one was he had Monte Barrett signed to fight him in the local minir league baseball stadium. The event got cancelled because Barrett pulled out a few weeks before to fight Odlanier Solis on Showtime instead. The second event he tried to set up was him fighting Zack Page in the main event & the co-feature was 2 on the top CWs in Canada at the time fighting for the vacant WBC Continental Americas CW title. The main event got cancelled because he didn’t get Page’s medicals in to the commission on time. 2 strikes & his license was gone. King has screwed up a lot of events in recent times...

Greedy is right! Lovejoy flew for a meeting with King to offer him $8000 to get out of his contract. King never promoted his last 8 fights. King wouldn’t do it for less than $15000. I looked yesterday & Don King’s 2020 estimated worth is $150 million...,

In the present day of a clearly out of touch DonKing who probably isn’t as shrewd as he once was to sign with him is asking to get a career possibly ruined ,well you won’t find it with this poster regardless of ones lack of education such as Lovejoy must have ,I can’t see any other story here ?
