I like the way he is talking in this interview. Hope he keeps pushing himself and not rest on his laurels or try to be a ducker.

His other teacher is the guy he just beat, who he wasn’t supposed to beat. Big lesson about getting comfortable and looking past opponents.

Well Teo, I'm a big fan but, when Floyd Mayweather jr. moved up to lightweight for the WBC lightweight title & lineage, he too had a fight that many considered controversial ( I thought Lopez clearly won vs. Lomachenko btw ): I'm talking about Jose Luis Castillo, 'Pretty-Boy' Floyd is what they called 'Money-Mayweather' at the time.

Floyd ran it back with Jose Luis Castillo, to silence the critics, maybe you should do the same with Vasily? By the way, Dan Rafael scored Floyd Mayweather vs. Jose Luis Castillo I a draw, like Andre Ward had Lomachenko vs. Lopez even.

I like Teofimo. He has class, power and skill. He knows he can still improve, as can all these young guns like Ryan, Davis and Haney. Stay humble and improve the craft.

Loma-Lopez wasn’t controversial. The right guy won. A rematch would be a huge welcome for boxing purists.
That said, Teo going after Garcia and Haney and destroying them would make him the next PPV King (like Floyd). After that, a rematch would be even more welcomed.

Say what they want about Mayweather, but guys like him and Canelo got to where they are at bc nobody works harder than them. Those guys stay in shape all year working on their craft. Credit to all the kings of their sport.

Big difference. Castillo didn't act like a biiiiiatch like Lomo.

                    He'll need to re-match Loma.
