That said, Teo going after Garcia and Haney and destroying them would make him the next PPV King (like Floyd). After that, a rematch would be even more welcomed.
    65-35 Lopez by 1 round/draw.

    Needs to be run back.

      That’s how you scored it.
      I scored it 7-5 Lopez.

But you and I are irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.
Boxing trainers, analysts, judges and most observers had Lopez winning that fight.

That said, if Teo beats and destroys at least two of the top names (Garcia and Haney) this year and I believe he KO’s both of them in less than 8 rounds, a Loma rematch could be a PPV bonanza and give him the financial windfall he seems to be clamoring for.

Lomo is over. He needs Tank or at least Garcia.

What I mean in my post is, 65% Lopez by a round and 35% Draw. It was incredibly close.

I honestly don't see the point in a rematch if it's that far down the road. How old will Loma be if Lopez fights and beats Garcia and Haney? Probably like 34-35 and as a smaller fighter, he will be clearly losing a step if you don't think he has already. As a young fighter, Lopez is still learning and will no doubt be better by then. Either they rematch next, which is very unlikely, or they should probably move on. I don't see Loma beating Lopez if he fights him 4 or 5 fights from now because there's no way Lopez is facing Garcia or Haney next and it would probably be that amount of fights to get Garcia and Haney in the ring.

That’s the right mindset, Champ! Stay motivated and hungry! The moment he loses focus, someone else will take his spot.

Agreed. Time to move on. Teo says he doesn’t have a lot of fights left at 135 so I personally would like to see new matchups instead of rematches for the duration of his campaign at lightweight. We saw Loma v Lopez. It was good. Now let’s see something new and find out if it’s even better.

                      I actually agree with you.
One thing though, there is no way the four guys at 135 can avoid each other. Those fights will be forced upon them this year or next year at the latest.

They are all young so I’m not going to accuse anyone of ducking. Not this year at least.
