Kovalev vs Alvarez 2 OR Smith Jr. vs Alvarez - WHO Had The Better Win?

Remember all the Kovalev fans roaring about the Krusher’s comeback after the rematch?! Lots of the Eastern-Euro only fans were so hyped that Beterbiev, Gvozdyk and Bivol had to see the Krusher or all the talks about unifications!

But when Kovalev fans saw that Krusher struggled for 30 seconds in one round against Yarde, they just jumped the wagon and fled to the other LHW’s regardless that Kovalev jabbed a KO! Lol.

The same posters putting Kovalev under the bus now against Bek said the same thing before Kovalev fought Canelo. The same dummies said Kovalev took a dive. Lol.

Smith by far, Kovalev won the fight clean but was terrified of that power all night and just fought behind the jab. Smith came in and completed overwhelmed.

For a second I thought you were talking about GGG in the first Canelo fight

Also you realize Kovalev was like a a +500 underdog going into the canelo fight lmao so obviously everyone knew he was washed, coming off of a brutal beating, didn't have a full camp, and would be drained from the rehydration clause in the contract. You think a prime Kovalev that had fought Andre Ward would have been such a massive massive underdog vs Canelo, sorry, you get zero credit for being a guy when you're such a massive massive favorite.

He was a *****. Which is why the 2nd fight is not an impressive win for Canelo. Dervychecko ****ed up way worse.

            None of them.

            DOETERBIEV, BIG CHARLO, BENAVIDEZ

I want to see Nelo in some new clash of styles/match up.

Smith would be "one" more stiff face first dude for Nelo to face.
A clearly decent fight don't get me wrong.

At this point Kovalev is damaged goods, he has been stopped 3 times in like what 7 fights?

With a short turn around and the same prefight weight checks, who is to say Kovalev/Alvarez 2 doesn’t look a lot like Kovalev/ Canelo?

Canelo deserves a lot of credit for beating a fearsome puncher like Kovalev, who is naturally much bigger than him, and who was considered, at worst, the 4th best LHW atm

However, Kova has been clearly on the decline ever since his losses to Ward, and was coming off a brutal fight with Yarde, on short notice. I don't think ginger could have beaten a prime Kova, who was a literal killer in the ring

but it's still a very good feather on Canelo's cap regardless, people seems to forget how undersized Canelo is fighting at LHW. and like I said, even a past prime Kova is still considered one of the best LHWs

Those are morons or rabid Canelo haters. Shiet was brutal, Kovalev almost died from that punch ffs. That KO was the product of a hard, perfect placed punch on a tired man who probably had lingering damage from his previous fight. Nothing else to see.

ppl who take dives don't take a brutal beating

they don't get brutally KO'd, risking health and life in the process

Real divers throw themselves to the floor with the first grazing, half assed punch they take. That's how it works

See Wilder vs Malik Scott for reference
