Good choice but I'm with other thinking Loma at least deserves a rematch. Loma made the fight happen. Gave up money and everytime Teo demanded something Loma said ok.

Let's not forget how much of a diva Teo was in making this fight.

And I had it 7-5 also. Loma gave up the first 6 rounds and STILL almost won...

Yeah he should fight Tank if the Teo rematch won’t happen. But I feel like their business is unsettled. Loma won 5 rounds in a much more convincing fashion than Teofimo won the 7 I gave him. Loma ultimately had the higher punch landed count as well as accuracy. So a rematch is needed to settle things. And I’m sure that many people feel like I do.

Loma didn't"give up" any rounds, you actually think he "decided" to lose those rounds on purpose?? That's dumb, the man. couldn't find his range all night, he was hesitant to even throw punches, and please don't tell me you actually believe he gave up money to make the fight happen 🤣😆🤣😆 espn was the one who paid for this to happen, Teofimo had to bend several ways for this fight to take place

What Lopez Jr. overcame was convincing. Lot of guys could have stumbled from the whole set up to the fight. He was stepping up or at least had to prove himself on another level. He had to overcome that situation, he had to step up his game, to loose would have set him back some but not forever he moved up during the time with no fans lot of outside stuff. The outside stuff was not brought on by any bad behaviour on his part as far as coming back from injury due to poor decisions on the road as was mentioned with Spence. That always had hit me wrong to say he overcame a lot that he brought on himself. That is a whole topic to itself but it exists. And Garcia was not the challenge that Lomo was I did not even rate it a ligit PPV level fight actually the reverse could have been true more other topic stuff in the end. Good for Lopez Jr. getting the nob with the fighter of year, good that Spence is still in the game and did not bring on any loss in innocents on the road. See where they go from here is the next step.

Boxingscene always good for replacing one Top Rank Darling with the next. My Boxer of the year is Errol Spence Jr. The way he can back from the accident was remarkable against top competition. However we know boxingscene does not really support PBC fighters.

Teo did what Devin would have done had Loma not ducked him Franchise style. But still a great win for Teo either way. Just can’t put that win over Spences. I am suspecting that the man is superhuman.

Not a lot to choose from in 2020 so can’t blame them for this pick. The fight itself was kind of lackluster (that was Loma’s fault, as he ran away the first six), despite two high level talents sharing the ring. Not giving him a rematch tho cause he was supposedly a d*** is kind of a chicken s*** move. This is fighting. If anything that should make him want to fight again and remove all doubt. Especially when you’re here for the fans.

They should both take a fight in the meantime then have another showdown mid to late 2021 while the dust settles from Davis, Garcia, and Haney then the winner should try to link up with one of them. Let’s not act like Loma is some chump now because he lost to a worthy opponent. It’s a good match up and honestly think the rematch would bring more views now that casuals are fully aware of Lopez

How is that a reward? That’s his personal life.
If we were to use your logic then Kobe should have been fired from the Lakers for cheating on his wife or Ali should have never been rewarded with all the lucrative fights for cheating on his wife plus refusing to serve in the military or Floyd should have never been rewarded for allegedly hitting his girlfriend or Tyson for allegedly raping a woman or Hopkins for serving 5 years in prison for armed robbery or ....
Do you see how that logic works?
