Maidana wasn't favored to beat Broner but when he did he opened the door for 2 Mayweather paydays and set himself up for life not saying Campa is the next Maidana because he hasn't been a champ yet and I don't think he will beat Broner but just saying it's an opportunity of a lifetime.

We've known Maidana for a while and knew he was no pushover even though he was the underdog. If anything, ever since that fight is when those type of matchups started becoming more obvious. Haymon ain't wanna see another one of his favorites lose stock like that again.

He is about broke now so maybe that could really motivate him to fight with
More conviction. Broner is affective when he throws punches but he gotta maintain steady workrate.
