As a boxer? At the moment, no bc he hasn't fought in 2 years. He can regain that somewhat little by little by getting back in the win column. As an attraction? Yes, bc when his name rings out, he bring alot of attention, win or lose, bc of who he is in and out of the ring. Haymon knows Broner is one of his money makers and he knows how to protect his investments, which is why he's been given so many chances even though he hasn't won a fight in four years. Hope to see him regain some of the glory he had in his early days, but with how things have been with him over recent times, I highly doubt it.

With all the lesser guys on the planet Haymon can feed his favorite guys, it always seems to be a Hispanic fighter that's the victim(mostly Mexicans). After a while, it just seems like a slight towards Hispanics. That's just my opinion.
At the end of the day it's a good chance for the Mexican to get exposure himself so it's a win-win if he ends up pulling off the upset then who knows where his career might go.

Maidana wasn't favored to beat Broner but when he did he opened the door for 2 Mayweather paydays and set himself up for life not saying Campa is the next Maidana because he hasn't been a champ yet and I don't think he will beat Broner but just saying it's an opportunity of a lifetime.

Agree to certain extent. The problem there is that the Hispanic fighter is almost always someone who has little to no shot of winning. Maidana was just a case of Broner seriously underestimating him and Haymon going along with that IMO.
We've known Maidana for a while and knew he was no pushover even though he was the underdog. If anything, ever since that fight is when those type of matchups started becoming more obvious. Haymon ain't wanna see another one of his favorites lose stock like that again.

Yeah I understand what you are saying but it's Broners first fight back I would've liked to have seen him against Redkach but I guess he wasn't confident enough to take on that fight just yet.

If Broner wasn't confident in taking on a guy that got KOed by Molina and Zlaticanin, then he must be more over the hill than we thought. But who knows? Let him do his Can Man act now and then we'll see what moves he makes after if he gets the W.

Not really if you look at the "billions" being less about money he has in his bank account vs. money he owes to creditors

He is about broke now so maybe that could really motivate him to fight with
More conviction. Broner is affective when he throws punches but he gotta maintain steady workrate.
