Man, Lopez is THE MAN at Lightweight!! Him and Ryan Garcia Really chasing greatness, at such a young age too! and even Devin (to a certain extent) These young guys, they really wanna get it. What’s refreshing is how instead of rejecting the offer/ whining and crying, he took short money against Loma, and he BACKED himself and WON.

Today He now able to command his fees, he’s EARNT that right. He beat a First time Ballot HOF at age 23, all whilst been derided and wrote off completely!! His resume speaks VOLUMES best one in the whole division. IMHO if we based it off already acclonplished, then loma is still #2 LW.

BUT I really don’t like the stuff loma been saying, and like guys seem to of given him a pass, he ain’t too far off what Wilder excuses were like.

The only young gun I see trying to avoid fights with each other is Tank Davies. I don’t know if it’s him or mayweather or even a case of both, I see how Tank loves a Twitter war, but then has a thousand excuses as to why he can’t fight someone.

Instead of been jealous, I think tank should of taken loma offer when he got it. He didn’t want too, was clear to fans he wants to play the long game and let loma get to like age 35/36 which really is a coward move.

Was a beautiful KO, which tank scored over Leo, but come on, bit strange how Loma was at 130, Tank couldn’t make the weight and had to go 135, loma moves up to LW, tank all of a sudden can make 130. Pmsl.

Gotta hold fighters to same standard guys. Tank gonna lose a whole lot of credibility if he’s the reason a fight with Garcia don’t happen next. I think Teo actually DESTROYS Davies and fast too, maybe by 5th round. Bad bad matchup for tank. Which is why he barely ever mentions wanting it.

Arum made it plain and clear he was NOT in favor of rematch clauses and the fight was unlikely to be made with one.

Arum, loves rematch clauses (Bobs just lying on that one) from what I can tell all Lomas previous fights had rematch clauses even for mandatorys .

Hearn tried to not have one for Loma vs Campbell and was told Loma would just vacate if the clause wasn't in the contract and Loma would just vacate if not there.

The no rematch was because it was two top rank fighters. Bob was moaning about Whyte Povetkin which is two Matchroom fighters but Whyte is basically his own man and just fight by fight.

Loma wasn't scared to lose so he agreed to fight without a rematch clause. Lopez seems like he is scared to lose a rematch so he won't agree to one. That's his right. If he's not gonna fight Loma again, I hope he fights one of the other top dogs at LW.

Loma is FOS! He thought it was going to be a cake walk, and he would NOT have given Lopez a rematch! He actually didn't think the kid was on his level, which is why the kid had to go through Commey first! Hindsight is 20/20! At this point, best fight for Loma is the winner of Berchelt vs. Valdez, with the hopes of a future unification with Shakur Stevenson!
