Mayweather has more depth on his resume but Ray's top wins match up with damn near anyone's.

      Give me Ray!

Leonard’s resume and career are levels above Mayweather. Head to head Leonard would’ve beat him as well prime for prime.
Most people forget the Duran fight Ray won that meant something was dead even and Duran quit out of frustration and being out of shape. Kind of a shallow victory if you think about it.

On the other hand, Floyd dominated Pacquiao. I think I gave Manny like 2 rounds. Ray wasn't dominating Duran in their second fight in the slightest.

Duran, Hearns, Hagler, Benetiz are literally the only names on Leonard's record victory wise.

Pacquiao, Maidana, Alvarez, Cotto, Mosley, Marquez, Hatton, Oscar, Judah, Gatti, Corley, Castillo, Hernandez, Corrales, Augustus are all good wins and great names.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Leonard fan but the majority of his resume is fluff.

Who cares. Did either of them ever knock someone out in front of 80,000 people at Wembley stadium? Didn't think so.

              This isn't even a question.

I grew up just short of the Mayweather "phase", yet from what I've been able to see and experience so far, THERE NO COMPARISION. Duran has a HIGH chance to beat Mayweather and I'd even say he's the betting favorite. But, Hagler, Hagler destroys Mayweather, sorry Mayweather fanboys.....

I’m a huge fan of Mayweather as well but I disagree here but thanks for responding!

Of the wins you mentioned, most of those Occurred at Lightweight were I agree Money was amazing, Not 147.

Above 135 Mayweather was an excellent match maker but it’s all down hill in terms of legit threats. Leonard fought and beat the best in 15 rd wars.

Those 15 rd wars displayed levels of skill not seen to this day. Those fighters would absolutely destroy today’s very good welterweight division.

                Tommy Hearns at 147 would
Wipe the floor with everybody today Floyd included at 147.

Wilfred Benitez was a defensive mastermind and He’d wreck Spence and Crawford.

Also downplaying Leonard outside of the fab 4 is wrong as well especially since you included Maidana, Hatton etc.

Dave Green, Bruce Finich, Ayub Kalule were all very good fighters.

At 147 Mayweather never stopped anybody of note and remember he broke his hands first against Carlos Hernandez at Lightweight. Those brittle hands in the 80’s would have been disastrous for Mayweather.

I disagree brother but still respect the reply!

Who has the better top 5 wins?
That's not even one of Leonard's best wins, that fight is comparable to Floyd's win over Canelo in that they were both catchweight fights and the bigger fighter had to move down in weight. Catchweights sullies fights.
Edit: It was for the 168 crown, but the point being was that the bigger fighter had to move down in weight.

Look up SRL's underrated W vs Ayub Kalule for the 154 crown, that win alone craps all over May's record.

i definitely agree. Leonard would over whelm Floyd with speed and power. Floyd would be so hesitant to throw , that he would bever throw enough to win a round.
