I like the site choice. I don't think Povetkin was that much hu/rt, the first KD being a flash, the second being more serious, but he got up in mid count wnd was OK when the next rd began. The way he drew Whyte's gloves to defence , dipped to his left, and let go that uppercut was picture perfect. I think he played out the fight that way, because, although he threw many lefts to the body, (which the commentator always ignored) was the very first uppercut, as far as I recall, -although I may be wrong.

Another thing, the commentator was all Whyte, Whyte, barely mentioning Povetkin, except to say in rd 4 that he wouldn't last more than another round or two. At least THIS was true, he lasted exactly 20-25 secs, just time enough for him to KO Whyte, with NO count needed....!!.

Povetkin didn't do anything until that punch. What do you want the commentary to be? Whyte was dominant in the first rounds and because of that he was spoken about more.

Povetkin timed that uppercut perfectly, but he hardly landed a punch before hand.

normally if you got stung in the stomach your hands will hold it. but look how he's trying to get up on a sit ups position.. if that really hurts it isn't like that.. you are rolling side ways.. tbh that was funny he was trying to get up hardening his abs when it was in pain. this should be the funny k.o of 2020. his stomach must be hit by a bundle of money.

Seeing loud mouth, hype job Whyte the serial cheater and peds abuser laid out flat again was a xmas treat for all to enjoy.

I'm stealing Sasha's moment and giving my bea Seniesa Estrada some shine. denium , I'm sure you agree that Seniesa is being hated on because of her sex.

C'mon man, the chick Seniesa battered was a former stripper and hooker who'd accumulated an unbeaten record on account of her boyfriend/partner paying her former co-workers to lace up... I mean these chicks would literally turn up never having thrown a punch in their lives needing to borrow kit and be shown how to lace up.

No doubt Ms Estrada is a fine boxer and the blame ain't really hers but that was an example of boxing corruption and negligence of the worst order.

What a quick victory. This girl is a monster! Adkins was not of the same caliber...I like Seniesa, when she was young, she beat a lot of boys her age at the gym in sparring

Not of the same caliber indeed.. a 42 year old who'd taken up boxing for fitness a year earlier and whose 4 opponents had reputedly barely ever thrown a punch between them...

That is an interesting take on what happened. There were body shots from both fighters but Povetkin looked uncomfortable to me.

He looked as if he was under more pressure than he expected and the left uppercut is one of his get out of jail punches.
It is a really good punch that he has mastered over the years, but I saw it as a "Hail Mary" punch from a fighter in trouble rather than the execution of an orchestrated plan.

I will watch it again though and try to see what you saw. Thanks for that.

I cant believe you would doubt my vote for Seniesa Estrada over Miranda Adkins : Adkins defense is just as good as Dillian Whyte's, plus Miranda was undefeated and NEVER been KO.

Lol im ok with this one winning because Dillian Whyte was on the receiving end after running his mouth non stop but to me it was the Zepeda-Baranchyk fight. I don't think anybody stayed unconscious longer than Ivan and that's no disrespect to Ivan he is a beast just got caught not even Taylor could do him like that.

I pick Zepeda knocking out Barenchych as KO of the year.

Nice picks. Zepeda-Baranchyk is the KO of The Year for me. But Povetkin-Whyte was brutal too

Zepeda and The Beast also had a crazy back and forth war. That KO was the most brutal of any that I saw in 2020.
