I would love to see Canelo fight Plant more than anyone else. Saunders is good but I think he lost his mojo after years of being undisciplined and not being on the ball fighting top guys. Plant has a lot more momentum, youth, and a winner's mentality. He also has a style that could work out well against Canelo and if it didn't work, I expect him to go for broke and try his best to win and leave it all in the ring. I don't expect the same from Saunders.

His IQ out of the ring keeps him out of danger in the ring... he simply avoids people he doesn't have to fight.

Nothing wrong with self confidence. He is unbeaten and is just speaking like Boxers do.

I need to see him at the top level before I can give an opinion about him. But so far he isn’t necessarily blowing lower competition out. He needs to show he’s above the competition he has faced, because he has not faced great competition. Uzcategui is good, Medina is a really rugged journeyman and not exactly an “easy” opponent to beat but if you’re elite or at least close to elite you have to beat him like Badou Jack or David Benavidez did. Plant also got a worn down version of Medina, not the one who beat Love or the one Jack fought.

I'd like to see canelo-bjs and plant-benavidez with the winners facing off at the end of the year. Both fights should be easy to make

Self praises don't amount to much. I think both Benavidez and Canelo would knock him out.

Everyone is starting to see that plant has no real desire to face any threats. He has turned down Benavidez multiple time either by dismissing the man all together to putting up self-imposed roadblocks on that fight to just flat out turning down the most lucrative opportunity of his career vs Canelo.

Plant is a prime example of what happens when you pay fighters too much for regular fights, now the big fights incentive doesn't seem as appealing when they can just feast off regular fights and make up that $$$$ difference in quantity of fights rather than quality of fights.

We see this in other fights like Crawford aswell, prior to that Bradley was cut from that same cloth....
