No proper step up fights? This dude mowed over everyone in the SM tournament,
You mean the tournament that none of the top guys at 168 (Plant, Uzcategui, Zurdo, Benavidez, Degale, Etc.) participated in?
Only three of the fighters in the tournament were ranked Super Middleweights, Four were unranked and one (Juergen Braehmer) was the #10 ranked Light-Heavyweight
It’s because most of these illiterate clowns have never been beyond their own back yards let alone another country. The closest thing they’ve come to a cultural experience is from the corner Chinese restaurant.
Like you I served. As a Marine I travelled the world. Trained with Thai Marines and British Royal Marines. I’d fight right along side a Brit, no questions asked. Boxing is about the love of a sport not some garbage argument about this country and that.
I don't know much about the guy to be honest, only footage I got from him is his last 3 fights, and to me vs Alexander he did not see like ran out of gas, at the contrary he looked to me like he has a great tank for his physique and his high volume light feet style.
I'm just based on his last 3 fights, I might be wrong with him but to me he has that unique style to give Alvarez problems.
Alexander was an easy opponent who didn't put up resistance. I saw Bekhtermir's last fight against Campa, which was a 5,6 round fight. These guys are not put in against Melikuziev to win.
