Neither gervonta or Ryan can afford to fight "nobodies" for the next 5 or 6 years....that's a disaster waiting to happen

He catches the left from Tank that he caught from Campbell he’s not getting up.

No one cares if you come back from a loss. Davis has hardly been taking on all-comers - must have a lot of doubts going round his head. Also don't forget Campbell is a very good boxer. Luke didn't get as far as he did on power or durability, that's for sure

The whole thing about - Boxer A knocked Boxer B down therefore boxer C would do the same - is always just speculation. Tyson Fury got knocked down and outboxed (in his own words) by a cruiserweight in Cunnigham who turned out to be a terrible HW. Every fight is different. I'm sure Garcia wasn't very cautious fighting Campbell. He would be much more cautious against Tank
I never use triangle theories because they are fallible so what I look for are the habits that I see repetitively....such as the way Garcia holds his head out in front without a high guard, and sometimes his head is straight up, and he backs to the ropes, and lacks a great jab and foot movement. If he doesn't tune at least some these mistakes soon, at the higher levels, he'll pay for those mistakes. At this point in his growth, I see a few guys who I think beats him. If he were to get 5-6 more fights with improvements, he could be better. The problem is he is now in the thick of the top 135 pound fighters - and they can't feed him lower level fighters when he is right in the mix at this time - and I'm not sure he can claw his way out of the dangerous forest of talent with his flaws. He can be one of the better lightweights but clearly not the best and is not taking over the division and beating them all.

Now this i can get behind. Win or lose, he's behaving like a real fighter. That's what this sport is about. No f3cking about and ducking like a punk and manipulating things to gain advantage. Do it the way it should be done. If he succeeds and keeps this energy by fighting on a level playing field, he'll end up being bigger in the US than Mayweather was. It's all there if it works out. Just look at how many people watched the highlights on YT. They aren't there for Campbell, that's for sure.

Yeah but he's young. Feed him to Tank if they need to. Garcia would learn way more by losing than winning and keeping the same flaws.

You can't tell these guys they can get beat - until it happens they won't believe it. Least Garcia knows boxing is real now after that knock down.

But as I said Tank hasn't exactly been fighting the best so it's not a foregone conclusion. Garcia has spent his whole career so far trying to knock out boxers who are trying not to get knocked out. He has experience in offence at least. And he beat Campbell up like no one else has.

Nothing is ever a foregone conclusion but at this point going by strengths and weaknesses, I would pick Davis KO6 over Garcia if they fight within two fights. Later it could b a different story.

Tank is a lot more dangerous than Haney. I can understand him avoiding Teo because he proved himself bigtime through beating Loma and is #1 in the division but I don't think he's worried about Haney.

You could be right, I also see it drifting away in terms of weight category. It’s happened before with high risers.
