Comments Thread For: Joshua: Let Me Just Fight Tyson Fury Wherever It Is, Whatever Time It Is

IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua would love to have a showdown with WBC champion Tyson Fury fight at Wembley Stadium. The chances of that actually happening at the moment is unlikely - after the British Boxing Board of Control shut down all boxing events in the month of January - after cases of COVID-19 began to explode.

I agree with you AJ. But I give it like a 10% chance it would happen in the U.K. and this year, I think that’s asking for too much. Coronavirus doesn’t care about sport. It’s an unforgiving illness on all kinds of people!

This new “mutation” of the virus is a bit suspect to me, find it crazy how we finally get a vaccine, and now the virus is fighting harder then ever? I totally get why some of these conspiracy theorist truly think this whole things a sham.!!

AJ needs to find a new dance partner. He did look great against Pulev. But one has to ask how good was Pulev?

But Fury the serial cheat has a date coming up with the Bronze Bomber. Word is arbitration is close and the judge is all the way in Wilder’s favor. Either Fury gives up his belts, takes some stiff penalties/ law suits or fights Wilder without the aid of his special effects. Fury better hope those red hot mittens did a good enough job in fight two. If not that will be a “Proper 12,” to get through.

Wilder will never get another shot at Tyson Fury, maybe Tyson might give him a spot on one of his undercards if he behaves himself.

Arum is a laywer and he says Deontay doesn't have a leg to stand on, Deontay doesn't even want the fight, he's only coming out with this rubbish to keep his low IQ fanbase happy.

Fury is Deontay's daddy and always will be.

it's obvious that one of the symptoms of the new Uk Covid variant is delusion. If you think fury is going to be able to weasel out of the trilogy, check your temperature and go get your nose swabbed immediately.

Not sure where you're going with any of this. Even if there is a rematch clause that can still be enforced, that's to do with contractual law - it's nothing to do with the orgs. The belts don't come into it and they would have no grounds to strip him.

The worst case for Fury is that he pays Wilder some damages. Or he could just fight Wilder.

But I suspect that the rematch has expired. If the contract is clear on the rematch then it would be all sorted by now. If it's not, then Fury will get out of it. Remember, he's not the one trying to force someone to do something.
