Gary Russell Jr is unproven at 130. If Tank isn't going to fight a champ at 130 he should fight Colbert

What 130lb. champ? Jo Jo? GRJ already beat him! The best available fighter at 130 is Lomachenko! Tank clearly doesn't want that, so why not GRJ, whose only loss is to Lomachenko? a 4lb. difference is meaningless! In fact, I would say GRJ has an advantage because we know Tank struggles to make 130!

Has Arum sent a contract to Davis for Loma, either at 130 or 135? Answer is no. Loma also hasn't moved down to 130 yet. I think Loma can't even make 130. If this fight ever happens, it'll be at 135.

Tank vs GRJ is huge for the DMV and would sell like crazy. Haney needs to get DAZN to up the money for Teo, like 5-8 million. Its for all the belts so get the fight done.

Loma is a name. I like that fight for Shakur.

Garcia didnt seem like he's that interested in Haney and it seems like his relationship with Oscar and Golden boy is strained. Oscar might see the writing in the wall that Ryan is leaving for Canelo-Reynoso promotions and so he may cash him out. However Mayweather and Golden Boy doing business seems like a pipe dream for this fight. Floyd may just wait until KingRy is free.

Garcia obviously prefers to fight Tank for the much bigger $ and buzz....Tank by far the biggest name and fanbase...Haney cant draw flies to crap with his boring Rigo-esque” style....has zero hype/appeal.

That's often a convenient excuse to avoid tough matchups. And I'm pretty sure that Ryan Garcia will get paid regardless. He could even negotiate to get more of the pot against Haney since he's the draw.

I'm all for fighters getting their money and it's not like anybody is gonna ask Garcia to fight Haney for peanuts. If Ryan can get the Tank fight then he should take it, and if he can't get Tank then I think Haney is a good alternative.

Not unless they are three huge fights. I could see the Loma rematch, Tank or Ryan Garcia. Anyone besides those guys would probably have to follow Teo to 140 if they wanna fight him.

If Haney cant get thse fights he's got to do something drastic. Dare to be great. Jump up to 140 or so and fight Broner or get a fight at 147 something to really get his name out there because otherwise he will just be avoided continually. He made a big mistake in fighting Gamboa. Now him and DAZN have go to overpay for an opponent so why not throw big money at Teo to get in the ring
