If you can fight, talk & have a decent fanbase (Love him or hate him) you will always be in the picture because guys will want to fight you for a nice paycheck. Chisora has been doing it for years. Malinaggi, Zab Judah & Golota come to mind although Golota wasn’t a talker but his fouling more than made up for it. Whyte will get fights...

Povetkin has had a hell of a career. Sure the 2 failed drug tests didn’t look good but he had fought a lot of good heavyweights dating back to when he beat Donald, Byrd & Eddie Chambers all in that order. I have been following him a long time. Losses to only Joshua & Klitschko who were both much bigger than him. Unofficially he lost to Huck but at 41 he is still the #4 HW in the world in my opinion. It was no fluke or lucky punch like Whyte thinks. It was a perfectly timed uppercut that he knew would be there at some point. He said it before & said after the fight. He studied Whyte & practiced throwing it in training camp. Povetkin is hard not to like.

For sure... a very likeable guy. Works hard, does not talk **** about anyone a nd wants to make sure the fans get a good fight.

While not covered in the Western media, Povetkin also does A LOT to help kids, particularly underprivileged and donates a lot of time to that. He also trains in his local place to help them out instead of going to a big gym.

You'll should be grateful to Whyte for making the HW entertaining with thrash talking. He's only next after Fury
