It was an unsurprising and one sided beating.

Bumchenko is just a gatekeeper. He gets knocked out cold in
a rematch.

Agreed 100%. Fact is, Loma didn’t win the fight. He either drew or lost by a round.

Thanks for the gifs, man, but yeah I had Teo by 7 -5... not understanding the dudes writing Loma off at all though. I think it's highly likely that Loma could win a rematch, it's kinda a cliche but if I had to put money on a fighter improving in a rematch it'd be the more highly skilled boxer. Loma in my eyes.

Dude was too wary for too long, and IDK if he can get away from that... seems to me Lomas strategy has always been to play it cautious until he's figured his guy out, just it took longer with Teo than it usually does. Thing is he's already seen 12 rounds of what Teo has to offer so maybe he'll be able to get going a bit quicker next time round. If it happens at all that is...

It’s trolling which this thread exposed. I’ve notified the mods and how imperative it is to correct this behavior on this forum but it goes unanswered. All we can hope for is a better forum.

How is it trolling to say that Loma got exposed? Face it, when you're the p4p king, you must be held to a higher standard. A p4p king does not lose the first 5 rounds of a fight to a 23 year old, especially one that struggled vs Nakatani 2 fights ago.

Loma fought great rounds 7-11. But then took a brutal beating round 12, Teo landed over 50 punches that round. No p4p fighter should get pieced up like that, I don't care how many weight divisions you're climbing.

And look, I liked the guy. If you want the best to fight the best in boxing, which I do, you have to give a guy Loma for taking a risk like Lopez, who I thought he would lose all his belts too. But you can't deny what happened that night.

What am I trolling about? I think Loma won 5 rounds, same as you. But if you're the p4p great you've gotta do a lot better than that. That's all I'm saying.

Again, I like the guy. I respect him for taking that fight when guys like Canelo won't risk their record against young hungry lions.
