Everyone understands the dangers on the sport, yet it is a decision they both decided to enter.

So with that being said, how come we didn't get that fight?

Absolutely not. Brothers should never be forced to fight each other. They fought all challengers. In the entire history of boxing there have been lots of brothers that held titles in the same weight class. Not long ago the Charlo brothers both had a world title at 154. Brothers have never been ordered to fight each other in the long history of boxing because it is unnatural and unreasonable. So why should the K brothers have been ordered to fight each other when no other pair of brothers ever got such an order under any circumstances?

They should have been forced to fight to the death. That should be the stipulation for all matches, to be honest. It will clear up that A-side B-side nonsense real quick.

Was there ever a position when one would have been mandatory to the other?

I'm assuming that the rules would have still applied. ie not taking the fight would have resulted in one of them being stripped of their position.

But how else are you forcing two guys to fight? You can't. And I respect that they wouldn't have fought.
