Nice performance, for some reason I saw the knockdown coming. Luc was looking for that counter from the start. If Luc and his team felt that was there best chance, why not jump in and trade once the plan failed. Luc's only chance was to swing for the fence as Ryan was throwing and hope to land first and let the weight transfer om Ryan's side multiply the force of impact.
Ryan remined me of a young Spence style wize. Soaks up more punches than needed. Haney doesn't have the pop, but he has enough skill to chip away on the inside and pray that Ryan gasses out late. Tank wasted his career, skiils stagnated but still has power. Tank isn't gonna pull a Canelo and walk Ryan down easily. Height and reach disadvantage against a guy that has quick hands, and skills/technique that have not evolved. Tank definitly has a chance, but it would not be as easy as some think. Garcia has that 2nd and 3rd wind..
That said, Ryan would get Teofemoed and it would not be pretty. Teo is just as fast or slightly faster, better movement and hits hard.
BTW, Teo needs to smarten up with some of his comments. He's now a businessman and a boxer. 3 biggest paydays at 135 are Tank, Garcia & Haney. If 2 of those guys face each other, the looser won't be worth as much or be as appealling to fans if its PPV. Warm up with Haney, then go for the other 2. So 3 big paydays instead of 2 or 1. Then go up to 140 and do the same or better yet go to 147 and try and get the really big $ since 140 seems a little light on big $ names.
