Personally i think williams will get what he asked for very soon and if tony doesn't fight him i respect that too. Why Maybe cause the boxing game isn't fair period you have to push and push until you get your chance , Paul williams is getting to impatient and he's gonna get just what the doctor ordered a 8th round tko by A marg. Paul williams style is real jermain taylor like Unorganized and all power, No accuracy 100 punches a round ofcourse who cant miss throwing that many punches , I would like to see how much juice he has going 12 rounds , "CHAMPIONSHIP ROUNDS" something he is not use too. I belive Paul williams is gonna get the case of the FERNANDO VARGAS IMPATIENCE, TO HOLD OFF ON A BIG FIGHT GET A FEW MORE GET SOME CONFIDENCE AND SKILL LEVEL , But it's alright 07 will be his biggest downfall........He IS A KNOCKOUT ARTIST NOT A BOXER VERY ONE DIMENSIONAL , IN THIS GAME YOU MUST BE ABLE TO be Versatile

Here is something for Margarito detractors to think about. Cintron got the better of David Estrada in a fairly even fight, and Margarito was way more dominant against Cintron then Mosely was against Estrada. When even James Toney has been quoted as saying that Margarito is an awesome fighter, you know he is good.

I would like to hear certain people say "if Margarito beats Williams and Floyd still won't fight him, then I will admit that Mayweather is ducking Margarito". Mayweather is becoming almost like a Mike Tyson type fighter where his fans will defend anything he does come hell or high water. If Margarito were to beat Paul Williams I just see everybody saying Williams was not ready, untested prospect, and then going on to say that Margarito has still never beaten a top ten opponent and doesn't deserve a shot at Mayweather.

Williams is all hype at the mo,I'm not toally sold, his chin is soooo open,a veteran like Margarito should take advantage. As for the sparring,I read an article where it was rumoured that Williams did indeed hurt Tony but in the same article,it stated that Margarito gave Williams a beating on alot of occasions too.Clottey is just as dangerous as Williams so I don't see how Margarito can be "ducking" Williams. I'd like to see WIlliams Cintron,my money would be on Cintron, when your chin is that open and the other guy had 1 punch KO power, you#re in trouble,

Totally agree Southpaw bro,Toni got NO credit for beating Cintron, even though Cintron will be a big player at 147 and the same would happen with Williams. Heck Cintron is more dangerous than anyone PBF has fought since Castillo!

I'm not a fan of Margarito but I'm almost positive he will beat Williams. He's more polished and has much better balance compared to Williams. Williams chin is slightly suspect, I've seen him stunned momentarily in his last 2 fights. Against a big WW like Margarito I'm positive Williams will taste the canvas. He doesn't use his height and reach correctly. He also doesn't take adavantage that he's a southpaw, his footwork is all messed up and he has NO defense. His only advantage in this fight is handspeed but I think his inexperience in a high pressure situation with a very dangerous opponent will prove his undoing. Williams needs 2 or 3 more fights and really work on technique before I see him as a serious threat.

The corollation that started this thread simply doesn't hold water, why? Because nobody is offering Margarito a career-high payday to face Williams, as Floyd has been offered to face Margarito several times and turned down.

As for Williams-Margarito, Margarito wins. Period. See me for billion point bets or greater the instant it's signed.

Let's see if Margarito can walk the walk and take the Williams fight or will he and his fans be the biggest hypocrites this sport has ever seen !
It's his mandatory, eventually he will fight him or give up his belt.
