I don't see where you get this at all. He ate some HUGE shots from Matthyesse, and answered them with 4 punch combos.

I think he's shown an above average chin, and has gone on record several times saying he'll take a shot to give a few.

True he needs work, and can work on his defense, but with that power, speed and workrate, his offense acts as a part of his defense.

This is a GREAT fight for Williams, Margarito, the Welterweight division, and for boxing fans.

I've read Dan Goosen says the WBO has mandated Williams as Margarito's December defense.

Will be interested to see what happens next.

i believe for all you margarito haters theres a big suprise for all of you very soon , And for all you PBF "FANS" Who OVERSHADOW HIS 135 lb and below from the days of castillo corrales u need to remember PBF HAs started a new division at 147 think again and WAKE UP and quit coming to the table with this "CREDIBILITY FACTOR" who fought who and this and that , come on lets start with the lb for lb champion . PBF has fought A CARRER DESCENDING GATTI, A HAS BEEN IM 2 ft tall Sharmba Mitchell, And soon to fight BALdomir a smart business decision less risk fight considering he is a HARDPUNCHING Brick CHIN HAVING ARGENTiNA BOXER, the fight will be lobsided because floyd will overwelm him with agility speed and defense, which are all the attributes that baldomir lacks which makes it a smart choice less risk and grab a belt sure why not.THE FIght will be enough to convince the "CONSUMER FAnS" that he is the champ at welter but not for real boxing fans. A TRU CHAMP CLEARS ANY FANS DOUBTs about Your ability to beat an opponent i hope Margarito fights williams but if it doesnt i still respect him why because of PBF business decisions what will bring in more money a PBF/ Tony or a Punisher / Margarito , thats PBF for you. Same antics whatever benefits the fighter not the fans.(Williams) In any case williams needs a lot of work there is no boxing in him it's just 100 punches a round trying to make it an early night , the guy needs needs foot work hand speed accuracy and defensive training he needs a new trainer , some decent opponents and then he can kick it up a notch, margarito would murder him with overhand rights considering williams is a south paw , and his lethal uppercuts would have a substantial effect. Wright would devistate williams with his offense defensive strategy and strong right jab. PBF WOULD KILL WILLIAMS WITH SPEED ALONE .

            My Big Question for Margirito.

            Another Floyd v Tony thread???
I know, im sorry, but this is the first thread ive made on the subject.

So Tony wants a piece of Floyd Mayweather, and FLoyd said he will not fight Tony until TOny fights a marquee name. So, instead of taking on a big name to make that fight with Floyd, Marigirito gets a fight with Joshua Clottey, knowing that Clottey is not a big name and FLoyd is going to say the exact same thing after a Clottey fight.
Why would Tony try to get a fight with a bigger name (there are plenty out there) then Clottey for bargining power if he really wants this mayweahter fight?

Let's see if Margarito can walk the walk and take the Williams fight or will he and his fans be the biggest hypocrites this sport has ever seen !
Honestly I think Tony will destroy Williams like what he did to Cintron.
