Funny enough, I also like all of those guys. They just all seem like, for the most part, very intellectually honest, and also very well-informed. Teddy for me was a bit of a company man in the Pac-Horn fight. I thought he went way overboard and I felt Horn was doing some good work he should have been credited for. Teddy made it seem like Manny was dominating.

I do like how Teddy picked Canelo to win fight 2 vs GGG though, but then scored the fight 8-3-1 to GGG, asking, are we not scoring the jab anymore? It's nice to see anyone in the sport just score the action that they are seeing, without any of the bias they may come in with. Wish people on here followed that blueprint.

Winning the round and losing it with a KD is the best round for a 10-9 score. That's the right way to score it IMO.

No its not.

9-9 is supposed to be thr score.

Look at it this way. A KD means you lose a point right.

So if you're saying Ryan won the round, then the score would normally be 10-9.

Put he was KD, so subtract a point from Ryan, which means instead of 10 points he has to have 9 points because of the point subracted.

Therefore the score is 9-9.

But if that is the case, then Keith Thurman should have had the 1st round against Manny Pacquiao also scored 9-9 because Keith Thurman clearly, and I mean clearly won that round if you don't count the KD. Then it shouldn't have been 10-8 for Manny but 9-9.

I did hear though that judges are no longer allowed to score rounds as a draw. They have to give it to one or the other.

I don't know if that only applies to normal rounds or if it applies to rounds with a KD too or not.

I think the cards are bullsheet but I think Garcia is going to get a lot of cards like that.

For one, he's the A-Side based on his commercial value. And for two, he throws fast and flashy and applies a lot of pressure - I'm not sure how a ringside judge is going to see if the punches are landing or hitting gloves.

In the early rounds he was hitting gloves while Campbell was landing scoring shots - including plenty to the body.

None of that matters though tonight. He put his opponent away.

I watched that fight and all I can is this kid is a knockout waiting to happen....he leaves his head hanging in the air whenever he attacks and is wide open.
Tank Davis and Haney will starch this kid.

I think in all fairness a knockdown should overrule. I also don’t like 10-10 rounds. I would say the exception is one fighter is dominating the other, really hurt, but is surviving and luckily drops the other. I wouldn’t have any complaints for a 9-9 in that situation. I mean the dominance has to be like 90/10. But in Garcia to Campbell in Round 2 was 60/40. So 10-8 is the correct thing to do... common sense for most of our scoring standards
