Does Ryan G. give you Victor Ortiz vibes?

I don’t care what a Campbell was ranked he looked like a guy there for a check. If someone told me he threw that fight I would’ve believed them. The man had Ryan hurt and didn’t throw another punch for over a minute.

The way he got that KD was by being patient. He wasn’t going for the KO because he was conserving energy and fighting his own fight. Not the fans fight or Garcia’s fight.

Notice after the round where Garcia hurt him with a temple shot, Garcia came out swinging for the fences, and actually punched himself out. Campbell was too unsteady to capitalize on that though. I was shouting at the tv and telling my girl that Garcia is going to punch himself out if he doesn’t calm down, and he did exactly that. Campbell knows better, he’s a veteran. He felt the punch will be there again but it wasn’t. Why? If you notice Garcia saw the left hand coming every time after that, he was stepping back and out of range of the left. The kid is a smart fighter and adapts well. He likely will be like Canelo and never actually get credit for any win.

Canelo was hurt badly vs Jose Cotto and all of his critics wanted the 19 year old to get KO’ed and have been praying for his downfall for over a decade now. It’s ridiculous how terrible fans are towards young boxers.

He’s so smart he doesn’t move his feet or head. And he drops his hands often. I thought he went to Eddie for defense? This was their 4th fight and I don’t see much improvement. Ryan’s got a lot of tools but if I were Oscar I would slow him down. The kids eager to prove himself but he’s not ready.

yes... I thought that was weird to be honest but Ryan is nothing special, he will always have a puncher's chance but that's about it.. now....Davis is real especial and will ruin Ryan and Oscar knows it, he is just keeping him because of the popularity of him..

He just beat an Olympic Gold medalist with good power and good skills, who was ranked #4 at 135. Ortiz never did that. Ortiz literally lost in his first step up fight. Maidana was ranked #8 at 140.

Also Ortiz’s sole win vs a top 10 fighter was Berto.

I've seen you post this a few times tonight, and I honestly can't tell if you're joking or not. What's/who was Campbells best win? We can start there. I hope he keeps winning because his kind of attraction is good for the sport, but he seems tailor made for a big puncher unless he can start moving his head or legs better than what he's shown so far.

So would you say Campbell is a better win or loss than maidana? Idk about that. Maidana may not have won a medal on the argentinians team but dude has much more of a pro style.
