Hopefully the Reynosos iron out some things like his defense and footwork. Canelo wasn't as bad but had real slow feet when he arrived on the scene and has come out better over the years. I also kinda question his mind processing whats in front of him in the ring. That left hook to the body was there almost ALL night and he kept head hunting with that hook. Took the kid 7 rounds to throw it with some force downstairs.

      It’s an impressive win.
lomachenko also didnt hit the deck hard like garcia. people have seriously revised that fight, loma barely got out of 3rd gear to beat campbell and was in control the whole fight.

The ONLY thing I'd like to see him improve is defense. He leans back - Sin #1 - and he drops his guard hand - Sin #2.

To me the way he fixes that is with activity. Throw more shots to open up the guard while keeping the guard hand up.

The other feedback is that he was going upstairs way too much when the body was wide open. I noticed that immediately after he got dropped and it took him a LONG time to adjust.
Ryan got loose in Round 5. High guard, better upper movement, pressing more. Posters feeling salty because they thought a flash knockdown wouod be a problem for Ryan. He can take a punch! That’s going to serve him well. Hooks like that is what ruined fighters like Victor Ortiz

He actually threw that exact shot and hurt Luke with it towards the end of rd 2. You could see luke drop is arm in pain,it just wasnt in that "perfect" place like the one that ended it.

He's 22, has very good power, great hand speed, the way he switched direction of that body shot was terrific, yes he is a bit flat footed, not much head movement & hangs his chin out there at times but he takes a good shot and is going to be very good in a few years time if he keeps improving.
He needs to keep away from Davis & Lopez, they both have to much for him at the moment but the Haney fightwould be interesting.

Definitely impressive, I’m from the U.K. but Campbell was gun shy but that was probably due to the power of Ryan. I lost money as I backed Luke to win on points so naturally I will say he fought like dog s*hit. He is a gatekeeper now,Anyone Luke fights I’m going for his opponent to KO him so I can get my money back

                  Still did what he couldn’t.

He lost a few rounds to him aswell.

Haney would outbox him he is too flat footed. He will pot shot him from the outside and jab his head off but I agree with everything you said

I agree. He won this fight through his sheer physical attributes and the zeal of youth, but boxing-wise he has a lot of developing to do. If Campbell had a better gas tank and more pop in his punches, tonight could have ended very differently because he exposed some glaring flaws in Garcia.

All things considered it was a good win, he overcame some adversity and showed pretty swift recuperative powers after getting put down. However, on that performance he is not ready for the division's best. Tank is all wrong for him; I don't see him outgunning Lopez in a firefight and Lomachenko (whom I still believe is the best at 135lbs) would undoubtedly have far too much know-how and experience.

He has a lot to learn and correct, although I'm not entirely convinced his considerable ego will allow for that anytime soon. He seems to be the type of guy who believes his own hype and thinks he has it all figured out already. Based on that and what I saw tonight, I too think he is an accident waiting to happen.
