He's good dude, you don't get Olympic gold medals easy, it's not a well planned and cherry picked vacant interim regular xxxxx title.

He's probably unlucky not to have been a world champ, but credit to him, he challenged two legitimate top dogs and went very close.

      Lol not a myth

Luke hurt and stunned Loma a couple times too

Loma even said it was his toughest fight

And Garcia looks pretty terrible against Morales was it?

Teofimo starched Comney. That alone was an impressive win against a top guy at the weight.

Garcia has yet to do anything like that.

I’m not saying he’s not good, but I think Campbell might cause him some problems.

We’ll soon find out but what we do know is this is his biggest test to take by far.
Im not saying that eye test doesn't have its problems. I just think Garcia's power will be too much for Luke knowing what we know about his ability to take a punch. I don't think it's disputed that Garcia is a hard hitter for 135, otherwise he wouldn't have KOd fonesca like that.

I agree with that, but so far as a pro he hasn't shown me that he's able to compete with the top top guys (like Teofimo, and I think also Garcia, Tank, Haney).

Felix Diaz had a gold medal too but Bud made him look like a bum.

He held his own against Linares and Loma, but again I think this new generation at 135 is just a different level.

We know that Ryan has power, Linares, Loma and Mendy don't. But they were all able to drop Campbell. Ryan's gonna hurt him bad. So would Teo. So would Tank. Haney would box the s*** out of him.
Eye test matters and so does resume. Campbell underachieved as a pro, but he has more amateur pedigree, and has at least fought Linares/Loma who are more proven than Garcia. This is why Bud looks great against bums, but nobody rates him because of his terrible resume being 34 years old.

                  Fair play.

Garcia was impressive tonight despite getting dropped.

                  Very good win.

He isn’t but he is solid enough to go 12 rounds with Loma. I had Luke beating Ryan today so I can’t say he is garbage. Ryan did well especially after getting knocked down. He has gone up in my estimation to a B- operator. He still looks vulnerable and all those flashy punches would hit thin air against a Haney. Haney needs to step up his competition I can’t have his corner when he is fighting walking corpses
