The fight left a lot of questions too.

One could say the same thing about a lot of fights in regards to rematches. For example, after Floyd beat PAC, a lot of people wanted a rematch even though PAC clearly got beat.
So, hypothetically, if Floyd had elected to fight Thurman instead of giving PAC a rematch, would you be critical of him and say he needs to stop running away from PAC and give him a rematch because PAC is better than Thurman?

I say absolutely no. Thurman would have been undefeated and younger and would add to Floyd’s legacy.

In that context, Teo beating two of the top guys at 135 would add more to his legacy that beating Loma a 2nd time.

      16 total fights
      Combined OPPONENT record
      446-39.

Care to know what Haney’s combined opponent record is as comparison?

      25 total fights
      1 made up fake title
      Combined opponent record
      324-158

      Who is the hyped fighter?
I didn’t mention Haney at all, I said Lomo is over hyped which he is as a “professional fighter,” at 14-2, LOL!!!!!

There is no fighter in the history of professional boxing that accomplished what he accomplished. In addition to that he was the greatest amateur boxer that probably ever laced the gloves. Overhyped? Far far from it.

I never said you mentioned Haney. It was a comparison between one fighter who has accomplished much more in 16 fights who deserves the hype and another fighter receiving hype that hasn’t accomplished anything relevant in the pro ranks.

Loma vs Tank at 130 pounds if they can still make that weight. Big boys Ryan Garcia and Teo Lopez are dangerous at 135 pounds. And Haney is a high risk low reward big fighter at 135 pounds.
