I like this reasoning that seems to get made over and over again. He masterfully handled the pressure as if it truly wasn’t a thing. Folks seem to think rolling with punches is somehow a boxer that’s lost. Loma was completely neutered the entire fight. It was not a close fight.

I’m no Loma fan but cmon maaaaaannn! Hype? He’s beaten a current 5 year world champion, by his 7th fight became a 2 weight class champion, made a 2 weight class world champion quit on his stool, won his 3rd weight class title by his 12th fight, won another title in his 13th fight, won another title by his 15th fight.

Who is the hyped fighter?

The WBC made Loma "Franchise" Champ, so he wouldn't have to fight Haney, Haney wanted the fight. Loma can clear all this up by fighting Haney ASAP! He's not getting a rematch (because he was the one who didn't have any intentions of giving Teo a rematch had he won), he's not getting Tank next, so why not fight Haney?
