Someone that’s not dead already! We can’t be to quick to think he’s the next coming until we see him in with someone who’s going to touch him back. I think offensively he looks great, well conditioned and blessed with God given ability. Let’s go back a bit; Do y’all remember Tommy Ayers, Tony Montgomery, Tyrone Trice all seemed to have the goods fighting nobodies and when faced with Championship caliber opponents, failed big time. Boxing definitely doesn't move like it should & I hate that about boxing. Errol didn't fight a top 5 guy for about 2 or 3 years before he wanted to. These mofos at the top, promoters, managers AND boxers got too much power to stay on top. And it's a cycle. When/If Ennis gets on top he'll be doing the same with the next gen. No diss to him it's just the culture of the business of boxing.

Ennis looks quite spectacular offensively, but yes, he hasn't really been tested. How does he take a power punch, and how are his boxing skills if he gets backed up?

He won't be able to demolish everyone, as power punchers through history have discovered. Thomas Hearns was devastating at welterweight, but there comes a time you come up against another great fighter. Brilliant boxers such as Leonard and Mayweather knew how to, for the most part, nullify the big power punchers.

Crawford or Spence vs Ennis, we want to see that.

Why? Like I said when Boots gets into the top 5 he won't give a guy at his current level a shot either. And with how the business works he shouldn't. It don't make sense.

When you have power in boxing you use it to your advantage cuz when you don't have it it'll damn sure be used against you.

That said I think how things work in boxing is fooking r3tarded & counterproductive to making the sport as popular & profitable as it could be. But lets not act like it don't work like it works.

I like Ennis and Ortiz Jr. I think they can be the future of the division. Shawn Porter on his podcast said he wouldn't fight them because they need to pay dues. Ortiz make actually get a shot a Crawford if they cant make the Porter fight as it is. I dont see a path for Ennis unless he can just get Ugas, otherwise he's going to have to get to mandatory status.

Thurman wont fight him and Spence isnt looking that way either. A fight with DSG would be a great step up but I dont think Danny and Dad take that because his career would be over if he lost.

Realistically the next fights to make for Ennis should be guys like Kudratillo Abdukakhorov, Josesito Lopez, Custio Clayton, Sergey Lipinets, Rashidi Ellis. He makes those fights and beats those guys and he's definitely someone's mandatory if not just straight out awarded a belt. And honestly he could and should fight 3-4 of those guys in 2021. By the end and going into 2022 he wont be able to be denied.

I think Errol should follow suit like Canelo and Loma and become WBC franchise chanp so he's away from that mandatory and free to fight Ugas, Pacquiao, Crawford
