No, bro. I think Tanaka could continue, but no need. Ioka out dogged the young gun. I love both boxers now.

By Jake Donovan - Kazuto Ioka continued a time-honored tradition in style, forever cementing his place as a modern-day great in the process. The four-division and reigning junior bantamweight titlist denied the same status sought by Kosei Tanaka, scoring two knockdowns en route to an 8th round stoppage win Thursday evening at Ota-City General Gymnasium in Tokyo.

No way. He was out on his feet so badly stumbling into the ref. Like others said the ref saved him so incredibly quickly and amazingly it was a thing of beauty.

I'm still waiting on the replay, but it looked like Tanaka was out, like you guys said.

Great fight! Tanaka had his moments and landed some big shots and good combos but Ioka's chin took it where as his chin couldn't take Ioka's counters. WAR IOKA!
