Daigo Higa is ready to wreak havoc on the bantamweight division. The former flyweight titlist picked up his second win at the new weight, scoring a violent 5th round knockout of Yuki Strong Kobayashi. A right uppercut put Kobayashi down and out at 0:45 of round five in their preliminary bout Thursday evening at Ota-City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan.

Looks like the BW division just got another solid face. Definitely looked shaky in that draw, but came back strong knocking Kobayashi. Hope he can make a bigger name for himself at BW with all the quality fights that can be made there.

Glad to see Higa has placed himself back into the mix at 118. Would love to see him fight for a title again.
