A couple years ago I woulda said Golovkin by murder. Now i still think GGG wins just not as dominant. Munguia would probably manage to ring Golovkins bell a few times and his gas tank without a doubt is now better than the G-Mans at 38. In all honestly this would probably be a good scrap and if it happens I don’t think GvsNelo3 ever happens (which I’m fine with). GGG can beat most of the current mws while still in first gear. I think he would have to exert himself a little while beating Munguia and I just don’t see Golovkin being able to do that too many more times. I think he’s only got two or 3 fights left with DAZN

Seriously if that kid dedicated an entire camp to head movement I think he gives 39 yo GGG all he can handle. He’s got the volume, pace and stamina just needs to improve his defense. I’m not saying he’d win even with that but this is probably the best time for him to get a fight with GGG

Dangerous fight for Golovkin I would be surprised if he takes it. If Golovkin fights like he did vs Derevy he gets stopped.

Munguia was in jeopardy of losing his last fight. If the fight wasn't stopped due to the cut caused to his opponent, he was heading towards history first loss. I can't remember the guy's name......but it's telling that Munguia almost lost to an unknown opponent.

I agree but GGG has to fight someone of note next.
                  Who does he fight?
I think GGG has got to go for broke now and fight tough opponent after tough opponent now and see out his DAZN contract and try and get some respect from his peers and fans alike .otherwise all he will be remembered for is the canelo fights and losses ( on the judges scorecards ,which is all that matters ) and chasing canelo for a trilogy fight.
                  😩

I got cripple g in this one because Mungia has even less defense than he does.

GGG at age 40 still too much for Munguia, if Munguia goes 10+ rds, he will be hospitalized for months and never be the same.
