I had Canelo winning. He hurt Lara to the body in the fourth or fifth round and started from there to get the upper hand. Lara should have been more offensive in spots in the later rounds if he wanted that win.

Lara ran, period! Lara turned it onto a track meet.

Lol. Puerto Rican’s just salty Canelo stole on Cintron and the Cotto Bros.

“Wasn’t even throwing his combos” lol. What does that even mean, as if Lara was?

They must have fought more than once then because the fight I saw was close but no cigar for the Cuban. When was the fight that Lara dominated, amateurs?

I was there and the Mexican filled place was quiet as hell for the whole fight except the end when the score cards were read, I thought Lara won easy but I knew they wouldn’t give it to him but as for now Canelo #1 p4p

What do Puerto Rican fighters have to do with anything pendejo, you think I love every boricua fighter like your obsession with Mexicans fighters put the poms poms down.

Canelo only won rounds 5-8, in the championship rounds Lara outlanded Canelo and he outlanded him through out the fight. Those body shots Canelo he was whiffing and were blocked.

The combo comment clearly meant that Canelo wasn’t able to throw the combos that he usually throws against his smaller, older and punching bag opponents.

Lara beat him easily. Canelo was crying in the post fight about Lara not wanting to fight “Mexican style”. But when he fought GGG he didn’t fight “Mexican style” either.

In a fight with a difference of like ten landed punches but one guy landed like 40 more power punches, moved forward, threw more, and the guy moving backwards would have severe moments of disengaging for 30 secs to a minute at a time of what was past the line of “boxing” and into realm of avoiding/running....then yeah.

Ironically, the same people who think Lara dominated the fight going backwards and “boxing” and showing a complete disregard for engagement think Canelo ran against GGG despite him also out landing him in power shots and doing more damage.

                Can’t make this up.

Lara didnt just get beat by Canelo, he beat himself by acting like this is the amateurs and going “I landed 3 more total punches I win by points”

No. You ran up on a guy, challenged him, and then only fought 30% of each round and got on the bike the rest of the way while still getting grossly out landed in power shots.

Lara was infuriating to watch especially as a fan.

                Zero awareness

“PRchamp” doe. Don’t Puerto Rican’s boxing fans have that grudge from Chavez and DLH? I mean at least Trinidad got the win with Oscar. You still in that Chavez vs Camacho thang?
