Wilder is a huge puncher who figured after 12 rounds at Fury's timing down. He flipped the switch and fought completely different

Most figured new trainer would also be against him... That usually never works out.
I get that some put a bet on Lopez and picked him but the consensus seemed to be that he's too green and would get outclassed.

You're right, plenty picked Wilder and what I forgot to mention was that was seen as a 50/50 fight with the majority seeming to lean towards Fury. There was nothing 50/50 about Loma vs Lopez, in fact to a lot of people, the majority of the press especially, it was almost a forgone conclusion that Loma would win.

To me, Lopez beating Loma convincingly was much more unexpected than Fury beating Wilder, especially since most had him winning the first time. His change in approach to the fight was surprising to some but Fury being the winner wasn't.

Odds right you were 100%. Loma was a HUGE favorite. I personally know ppl who bet on Teo but the odds never really went down so your probably right most bet Loma.

          Fair enough!

I actually took Lemuix to beat Saunders... Figured no way! LeMule loses by decision in Canada. Talk about egg on my face.

Lopez-Loma was the upset of the year period. Loma was the consensus p4p and the fight had a huge audience. Sure, lots of people gave Lopez a shot but it’s still toppling arguably the best fighter in the world And should unquestionably be the biggest upset

If Yarde hadn't planked in Russia, I'd still be bragging.

Well I would have bet my life that Saunders would win that fight. Looking ahead. Fury beats AJ
