I’ll give anyone credit if they can beat Manny. He’s still fast, in shape and not like anyone else they would have ever fought style or skill wise. They’d get more credit if they could knock him out or stop him of course. The winner of Bud v Spence should be rewarded with the Manny sweepstakes, but that would have worked a lot better a year or two ago.
Would Spence or Bud get credit for beating Manny?

I mean, he just beat Thurman last year, but he's like GGG, those guys need to either shxt or get off the pot.
Either try to unify your divisions or let those belts go. They're holding them hostage at this point.Comment

Any time you beat a past prime great boxer you don't get the full respect for the W. So of course they wouldn't get as much respect as if they beat a 30 year old Manny. Nor should they.
No fights ever happen in some sci fi fantasy prime vs prime world anyway so who gives a fook. This is how boxing works at the highest levels quite often. A really good boxer comes along, doesn't lose or barely loses & he's never really BEATEN til he's past his best days. Plenty of HOF caliber guys got records that look exactly like that. They mighta lost early, the probably lost late, but when they were at their best they never lost a fight or they got a controversial or close L on their record. Manny had a decade like that where I think he only lost one fight & it was close.Comment
