GGG won a world title in 2010 and defended it several times before Cotto starched Martinez for the lineal title in 2015 so you totally and miserably fail there. GGG was easily the next in line and more than worthy. Martinez and Cotto wouldn't even mutter his name.

We will see what happens after Kamil. His run from Sergei to Brook was as strong as anyone's last 7 besides Canelo really.

At 38 most of his legacy is already probably written. Not sure what the plan will be with/for him. DAZN is paying him too much money to fight most guys. I think the Munguia fight makes sense for them but doesn't do much for GGG's legacy, not unless he wins and Munguia ends up being better than most think.

Besides Canelo 3 or a fight at 168 (or even 175) I don't see a real legacy fight for him right now. Andrade and Charlo would help some but they aren't exactly 100% proven themselves.

Munguia will lose, no question. If Spike O'Sullivan almost takes his head off, Golovkin will murder him. But Munguia is a former champion and a genuine top ten MW. I didn't like that fight at first but it makes sense. People will be interested and it would be fun.

If he beats Andrade he won't get credit by many. I'll give him all the credit in the world. Golovkin would be unifying against a southpaw with an awkward style and in the twilight of his career. People don't like Andrade but if he was easy to beat somebody of note would have done it or tried to do it.

I could see him awkwardly winning a clear UD vs GGG right now, and I could see him getting clipped early and not having enough dog in him and getting stopped. Jermall would have a puncher's chance vs GGG but it would be a very real chance. I really have no idea if both/either/neither of Charlo/Andrade will be the type to legit beat a Canelo or someone like that, or if they will get shown up in that type of step up fight.

All I have to think is that Kamil is about as good or better than Dennis Hogan. That isn't really a big stretch.

Munguia has a good amount of decent fighters on his resume. When he knocked out Sadam Ali 2 years ago I thought his resume would keep getting better and his opposition would get better. That has not been the case though. I was looking out for him but all I see is crickets on his resume since beating Ali. Liam Smith, Gary O'Sullivan, Tureano Johnson, Dennis Hogan are recognizable names because of who they lost to rather than who they beat.

He sc****d by Dennis Hogan in Mexico. In the post fight interview, Munguia said that the fight may have been a draw. You know it's bad when the winner says he thought it was a draw. Hogan was then stopped in the very next fight by Charlo.

He should first rematch Dennis Hogan on a neutral venue and beat him before he can be brought up as a boogeyman for GGG. He has age on his side, so at 24 he can still get better. I give until about 27-28 and that's when he will likely be in his absolute prime.

Andrade? Not much to say about him. He hasn't done anything of note in his career to be talked about as a boogeyman for anyone. About to be 33 years old and hasn't done much of anything.

Why not Munguia vs Andrade though? If they're so ducked, then fight each other. Both would be each other's best win on their resumes. Andrade is running out of time too, so he needs to fight someone with a pulse and stop being picky and pulling out of fights.
