Former IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz is training hard with his new coaches, the father & son team of Eddy and Chepo Reynoso. Ruiz shocked the world in June 2019, when he dropped Anthony Joshua four times for a seventh round stoppage to capture the unified crown at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Hell I could barf more than the weight he lost. Actually, I look forward to him getting in whatever the best shape he can get in. He will have some really nice paydays ahead so I hope he takes advantage of his prime way more than Arreola did which should happen since he is a former champ and knows what he did wrong. Hire a real physical fitness trainer and chef.

I mean I understand he lost 20 pounds but is that 20 from the 280 he weighed or 20 from a blown up 350

How many times have we heard this though? Literally nonstop throughout his career.

He'll come in a little lighter vs a tune up type & fool people into believing in him then he'll get a big fight and spend his camp in BK as usual.

The guy has a Snickers sponsor ffs nobody should take him seriously.

The jig is up! We've seen this movie before. Classic bait and switch...kinda like how mean, ripped and ready Mike looked before the Jones fight...then cut his beard on fight week and looked every bit of 54 years old in the ring. Lol

Is Andy Ruiz even a heavyweight when in shape?

Ruiz needs to show it by actually doing, not just saying it. We’ll see how well he’s doing under the guidance of Reynoso. A trainer could only do so much for his fighter, but the rest is up to Ruiz. He needs to be motivated and show that he wants to be a legitimate contender by beating the top guys.
