I person with just as novice boxing background but a legit fight background where gotta train for real fights knows what its like for real fight. Truthfully idk how dudes going to react when hit. Conor is a striker grappling cardio aint his strength yet beats paul. Paul knows hed lose which why looking for fight against ben askren an olympic wrestlers known in mma world as 1 of the most boring n worst strikers ever if when u think of the guy that only throws 1 punch per round n thats always a set up for takedown so can grapple the whole time thats ben askren . him and paul n anyone who buys it as long as under boxing rules should be thrown of a cliff

Stop giving ben askren a chance dude outright sucks id favor most on this forum in a boxing match or kickboxing vs ben askren. Him n jon fitch elite wrestlers no striking ability literally throw 1 punch per round to set up a takedown if they aint already took down yet. Then they grapple whole time no strikes. Theyre the most boring plus worst striking mma guys to make it to ufc. N reason they aint win a belt in ufc u gotta be able to strike. Askren has khabib level grappling but literally throws 1 punch per round zero kicks no knees in clinch. Only watch ben if your fav sport is school wrestling cause if its mma or boxing your going to be mad n if hes your first fight everr u saw its ur going to hate that promotion

In a boxing fight I'm not sure McGregor could do much. He went some rounds with Mayweather but seemed to be throwing powder puff punches, not much power. Of course in mma he'd be in his element.

Idk man. BJ Flores, Jake's trainer, was really talking him up on a podcast I was listening to recently & it sounds like dude has been going semi-hardcore on boxing for about 2yrs. Said he spars with cats like Hasim Rahman Jr & JLeon Love among other pros. And lets be real all Conor has done in pro boxing is land the funniest jab I've ever seen land on Floyd. Idk that I'd necessarily pick Jake, although not saying I wouldn't either, but I sure wouldn't expect Conor to put the guy in the ER lol. I'm not even feeling like Ben Asken will be a favorite against Jake if they fight.

Jake looks to have decent fundamentals but tge two guys he boxed were literally atrocious and clueless on boxing. Sparring comments from a trainer carry little or no weight in my opinion. Conor woukd never beat.a top 20 pro boxer but he has good fundamentals and timing. My guess is he would pick apart Paul, but probably not starvh him because Conor doesn't seem to know how to throw punches in ring with same starch as in UFC. May be the gloves or foot positioning.
