If you look at their previous fights, Wilders gate earned over 4 million, Furys gate earned less than 900k. Wilder got somewhere around 250k views PPV. ESPN wouldn't even report views for Furys fight on there app. It was also reported that ESPN lost money on Furys fights.
Wilder had the highest viewership of any fighter on showtime, and he averaged over 2 million views on CBS/Fox.
So yeah its a lie, but a lot of people on these forums feel good when they say it, so it gets repeated.
Having said that, PBC's intentions were never to make Wilder or any of their fighters PPV stars. The focus was always to make big money putting huge fights on regular network TV and relying on add revenue. That obviously doesn't allow Wilder to be as big PPV wise as he should be, and in hind site was probably a terrible idea or naive at best. PBC is only now going PPV because promoters like Arum still hold to the PPV model for big fights. I would say Haymon is rather reluctant to go PPV, even though he has been forced recently to make up for revenue, as in Spence vs Garcia.
So I'd concede Wilder is not as big a name as he should/could be, but absolutely a bigger name than Fury in America.

AJ still hasn't fought #1 or #2 in the division. He's a Paper champ until he beats the #1 guy.

Truthfully ruiz id rather match up against wilder with winner facing say povetkin vs usyk (make usyk feel good for step aside n similar size so usyk handles ppl there size) match ortiz vs?whyte with winner facing parker vs joyce winner this would clear up a true contendender mandatory n keep ppl busy n make boxing fun while aj vs fury 2 fights. Throw hughie fury n flip hrgovic in the tournament as ppl to step in barring injuries. Aj a legit fighter gets massive credits showing multi facet fighter unlike wilder who shows zero ability to learn. First ortiz fight youd think work on learning basic boxing to?add to game nope. After first fight did learn anything nope 2nd ortiz fight lost every sec of fight until ortiz age. N mixture of so far up on cards got caught up n started slipping. Yet did it look like wilder went to gym n work on boxing. again no for 2nd fury fight same wilder weak pawing jab and right hand that only cracks from a distance. By this time fury who like alot ppl scene the flaws n was like ima my size get close keep coming foward he has no inside game n cant fight of back foot has weak jab no combos n only can throw right hand if at proper distance. So being we seen aj n fury grow as fighters give em credit cause they could be like wilder n show zero learning ability even in scares or defeat

I would bet my house on every single one of those guys would beat Pulev. I also rate all of them ABOVE Pulev.
Pulev best known for getting sparked by WLAD, beating a fat uninspired chisora and a cut, young in over his head Hughie fury.
Dudes nothing at all. If you think so then you crazy bro. Only thing those guys I’ve wrote above miss that Pulev has is that L To Klitschko. Don’t try telling an actual boxer about talent and levels please sir. Thankyou. And that was just 11 names I’ve fired of top of my head. Chuck in Povetkin AND Joseph Parker and that is 14 I’ve given you!! my buddy!!! Pulev should rematch Bogdan Dinu!!
Deontay Wilder? He avoided anybody ranked above 100, fought only 4 top 20 fighters and 28 unranked or ranked below 400. He would never face Pulev, he's too highly ranked.
I'd pick through your list, but what's the point? It's obviously just all the names you could remember.
