Is Canelo Alvarez the greatest cherry-picker of all time?

Never in history has a fighter repeatedly cherry-picked titles across multiple weight classes the way Nelo has.

@155- Invented his own weight class to avoid Prime Golovkin. “I’m not a Middleweight!” while fighting Amir Khan.

@160- Fought old Golovkin but still no prime Andrade or Charlo. Tests positive for Clen.

@168- Doesn’t fight Plant or Benavidez, fights bum Rocky Fielding and Callum Smith.

@175- Doesn’t fight Beterbiev or Bivol, fights old shot Sergei Kovalev.

What’s next? Will he fight Beterbiev when he’s 37 and looks vulnerable?

Here’s a better idea- move up to Heavy and fight Wilder once Wilder has a few more losses and surgeries and looks completely done. Then he can call himself “the heavyweight champion of the world” and his fans will eat it up smh.

This is Motorcity Cobra’s troll alt account.

He realizes Crawford Spence losing steam. Such are being trailed behind. Only thing left to do is gear attention to discredit the most proven and skilled fighter because he’s not a brother!

Its alvarez theres a reason aint fought listed names above its a business n boxers courtesy of mayweather the og cherrypicker now know its a business and follow the mo fight low risk high reward only take high risk high reward either to get a belt or cause the $ right. Mma fighter especially ufc fighters need better compesantion yet hopefully a network follows there mo buys out 3 or 4 promotions n make the fights ppl want to see more often similar how to ufc does which is another reason its surpased boxing since in the usa canada n well brasil the 2bd largest country in americas 200m people (france uk germany combined population) was never big on boxing n mma exploited that which another reason surpased in the americas. If only dazn aired on television n added pbc to the roster thatd be realistically closest thing to a ufc boxing would have. Growing the sport also making less cherry picked matches. Since theyre already hearn n dlh with friendly terms with warran. Bob arum n tr is the bellator of boxing truthfully its 2nd tier horrible promotion of fighters except that fighter 1 loma similar to how bellator only promotes mvp.You rarely know when fights happening and there depth is super thin. So truthfully if my idea happend missing out on crawford and loma wouldnt hurt the boxing world itd be like how we in mma want to see lamas from bellator vs masdival usman. Or mvp vs anyone legit top 10 in ufc yet we aint dying we missing those fights cause 7/10 times we still getting good fights in the ufc alone. Unlike boxing no big fights ever on public tv rarely get to see the fights want to see on time especislly from the so called champions .

This shows exactly not only Canelo's hypocrisy but also the idiocy of having so many weight classes in boxing that differ practically with nothing.

Don’t be upset that Canelo hasn’t smashed any polish fighters like Proksa and Szeremeta. It’s unfortunate that Polish fans get off by that stuff. It’s like cheering a Kazakh smashing your own countrymen... tsk tsk

He should have went for the best in every division and CWed them, then he has the name value but reduced them to the level of the guys he beat to win the titles, with major difference the fans dont care about anything other than what the name represents.

There is so many ways to run through titles.

History will always ask, with Gennadiy towering Hagler (nor is the Kazakh slim), as to why Golovkin never dared with Andre Ward. An 8lbs difference when per verbatim since 2013 Gennadiy said “168 is easy” with industry even creating narratives for Chavez Jr. and Froch, so because Gennadiy couldn’t get those fights he decides to continue draining at 160. Even if the theory was that Ward couldn’t fight because of an injury or lawsuit, Gennadiy’s handlers and himself didn’t feel to seize the moment and capture 168. Makes no sense.

No fighter in history gets a pass like GGzg considering the hype he got. Motorcity Cobra for some reason Canelo is used as some placebo for GGG fans. lol

                Is that better?

Neither I am upset nor I am a fan of Golovkin, Szeremeta or Proksa, FYI. And I don't understand why you're saying such out-of-line things to me and to all Poles. Obviously, you have nothing wise to say.

he is easily the biggest cherry picker. easily.

                    - his FIRST world title fight was against frickin matthew hatton for the vacant wbc belt hahahahahahahahaha.

                    - avoided angulo until he was already damaged goods. didnt want anything to do with him when he was the MANDATORY wbc challenger.

                    - canelo didnt even want callum smith until he lost to ryder.

the only times he didnt cherry pick was floyd, trout and lara. lost to floyd, easily should have lost to lara, and trout fight super close competitive could have been a draw or either way.

                    canelo is incredibly super overrated.
