Yeah definitely, he looked poor against Gamboa also but he at least put him down 3 times and eventually stopped him. It’s clear Davis was well out of shape for that fight too. He could definitely work on his professionalism if he wants to fulfil his potential.

He’s also proven his quality by destroying guys like Pedraza and Santa Cruz. Haney is yet to prove anything like that. What’s his best win? Gamboa? Burgos?

The thing I don't understand is: Hearn was willing to pay Davis $5 mil for Farmer. Farmer is tier two. Why doesn't he have the same energy for Haney?

Good point tbf. Farmer can’t draw at all too. I think they must feel they can probably make some decent money having Haney beat these C/D level guys he’s been beating. There seems to be considerable hype around him, whereas nobody really cared about Farmer.

Hearn should have made Haney-Campbell. They’re both his fighters and it’s a great step up fight. I’m surprised he let Oscar and Garcia get in there first.

Teo just beat Loma and became undisputed champion. He’s entitled to be rewarded.
