I don't think the split will be less than his minimum of $3.5 million. It will likely be at least 3 times that. Honestly, I feel like a conservative number for this potential PPV would be around 450-500k buys due to the support it would get from hardcore boxing fans. I think that if this fight manages to capture the casual/mainstream fans attention, it can do better. Possibly 600-700k or so. Big 'if', but let's just leave at conservative 500k @ 74.99 or whatever PPV price is. If that is the case, that is easily more than $10mm for each, even after the networks take their cut. If this fight is made in a big stadium, let's in Dallas Cowboys stadium, it can also do good business at the live gate. Some sponsorship money thrown in there and Crawford could be looking at around $12-13mm total, Spence could be looking at some where around $18mm. This is at the conservative numbers of 500k, good live gate, and sponsorship money.
Now money aside, i'm gonna be honest and say they should just do 50/50 to get the fight done. But I can see Spence just forgetting about Crawford until after October 2021, and fighting Pacquiao and Thurman and earn 8 digits for both. The fight probably becomes very possible after Crawford's contract with TR is up. Al Haymon would easily make the fight and pay both a fair amount of money.
