You sound like a casual. Morell had a long amateur career before fleeing Cuba.

I remember watching Gavronski against Jesse Hart. It was evident he was a clubfighter. Apparently this was a FOX-worthy main event from Al and company. I miss the days when PBC gave us free boxing like Thurman vs. Porter on CBS. Those days are long gone.

Dude is definitely a good young fighter but he's nothing at all like "El Feo"... Feo was way smoother, faster, light on his feet, great body puncher, very versatile complete fighter, tough as nails, endless stamina, a true 15 round fighter and an all time great

168 just keeps getting better! Future looks bright for 175 too! Canelo, you have some problems coming in your 30s!

Morell is 22 years old and was on the shelf for over a year, after defecting. If you think 132-2 is a long career, what do you think about loma and Rigondeaux?

I hate all the WBA titles, but there's no regular champ with Canelo beating Callum, right? Would make sense to do #1 Morrell vs #2 Yerbossynuly for the "vacant regular" title. Would be a fun matchup of young undefeateds with lots of amateur experience.

He reminded me of Rodriguez, it doesn't meant they are the same. The main factor been, like LMR, he throws a lot of punches. We saw LMR as a finished product. This kid has a long way to go.

Sounds like Ryder vs Chudinov will be for the regular. I haven't seen Yerbossynuly yet.
