It hurt seeing Kirkland lose like that. He’s finished and shouldn’t fight anymore. He didn’t take too many punches, but he was clearly disoriented and in no condition to continue fighting. He went from a feared contender in his early days to a washed up contender who never got to win a title. He hasn’t been the same since his loss to Canelo.

That was hard to watch.

I've followed Kirkland since he was young, and that was bad. He's shot and needs to retire.

Wolfe can't help him now. Her style of training actually sped up his decline if you ask me. Kirkland is punch-drunk at 36, yet hasn't taken alot of punishment in the ring. But he took a ton of it in his training.
