How do you define hurt? Do you class wincing after body shots hurt or losing your equilibrium after a a right hook, getting knocked down and getting up on shaky legs. GGG took 9 months to recover after their 2nd fight and needed a light touch with Stevie Rolls. Canelo meanwhile was out there 3 months later in a higher weight class, then unified at 160 by May of 2019.

When your fight game is to get on your bike and survive almost any decent professional boxer can outlast a KO. Please, Canelo has no power.

Canelo doesn't have power but granted he does have an incredibly high boxing IQ. That said you'd think someone with such an IQ who effectively has their opponent keeping their arms at home would find a way to get the KO... obviously not, and this is something we've seen in many of Canelo's fight's. If they're not a bum or a carefully selected opponent he finds it difficult to break them down and there is both a clear lack of power & killer instinct.

Not his fault people avoided him like the plague his entire career. Everyone was too terrified to fight him and the only reason anyone will now is because he's old af. Canelo doesn't want a 3rd fight because he knows it'll be another war. Like Mayweather before him, he's learned to pick the easiest battles for the highest rewards.
